The Wooden Classic is a three-day festivity established by legendary UCLA college basketball coach, John Wooden. The Classic kicks off with the charity Golf Tournament followed by the Coach's Dinner and an NCAA basketball doubleheader at Honda Center. All three events will benefit the Special Olympics of Southern California and Orangewood Children's Foundation.
Special Olympics Southern California assists over 10,000 athletes, provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Orangewood Children's Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization that provides an innovative array of programs and services for children in foster care as well as emergency shelter for abused and neglected children.
